Are you an artist living in the East Mountain Area?
Mountain Gardens garden center is looking for artists who live in the surrounding area and want to show and sell their work in the community in which they live, grow, and love.

Clearification: We will be selecting artists based on the quailty and orgianality of their work. There will not be booths reselling other peoples work.

ReplyDeleteHere is some extra information that may interest artists.
• This is a 2-day festival and attendance is mandatory for both days. Artists will need to be responsible for their own set up and take down for both days. Please contact us with question if you have concerns.
• Examples of work -please no slides. We do not have a way of showing them. Email pic's (1200 pix or better) or mail 8X10's
• Spacing is based on a 10x10 foot square. There will be about 20-30 spaces available.
• Power for booths -sorry no power.
• Artists can bring their own canopy as long as is stays in the 10x10 space or an artist has applied for and paid for 2 joining spaces. Standing umbrella's are a good idea if you don't want a canopy.
• Artists will be able to sell their work and sell commissions for work. Artists will need to be responsible for their own taxes
This will be an informal juryed show. The public be asked to vote for their favorite booth or artist. It's still in the works.
